I just watched this vid of Aral Balkan’s Free is A Lie talk from The Next Web con­fer­ence and felt I had to share it. I’ve always admired folks who try and speak up and make a dif­fer­ence in any area of life and Aral does it bet­ter than most. My own dis­like of where the inter­net (and soci­ety as a whole) is going is no secret and any­one who shares my dis­trust of the larger web cor­po­ra­tions should go check out Indie Phone.
